Deactivation is instant, deletion is not
What deletion means
Read this before you start
Deleting your account closes your access to ArShipper and removes the personal data we hold about you as a customer. It is free, you do not have to give a reason, and you can ask for it from the website or from our app.
It is not the same as cancelling a shipment, and it does not settle an invoice. Those are separate, and the section below explains what to do about them first.
Only your own account
Settle these first
Shipments, balances and invoices
Four things outlive the account if you leave them open. Deal with them first and the deletion is clean:
- Consignments in transit — Deleting an account does not cancel a shipment. Cargo already booked still has to be cleared, delivered and paid for — settle or collect it before you delete, or you will have to reach us by phone to finish it.
- Wallet balance — Ask for any unused balance back first. Once the account is closed, returning it takes a manual check against your payment history.
- Unpaid invoices — Outstanding charges survive the account. Deletion is not a way to clear a balance, and we will still invoice for work already done.
- Documents you may want — Download the invoices and delivery records you need for your own accounts. After deletion we can no longer show them to you on the site.
What is removed, what is kept
And why some records survive
Most of what we hold is yours and goes. A narrow set of records is kept because customs and tax law require it — those are retained for their statutory period and used for nothing else.
- Removed
- Your profile — name, email address, mobile number, password and profile picture.
- Removed
- Saved addresses, contact details and notification preferences.
- Removed
- Photographs you uploaded to bookings and claims, other than any attached to a record we must retain.
- Removed
- Your sign-in credentials. The account can no longer be logged into.
- Retained
- Customs declarations and trade documents, for the period Bangladeshi customs law requires.
- Retained
- Invoices, receipts and payment records, for the statutory accounting and tax period.
- Retained
- Records tied to an open claim, dispute or legal obligation, until it is closed.
How to delete your account
From this page, or by email
- 1Sign in and use the button in section 06 below. This is the fastest route and needs nothing from us.
- 2Or email support@arshipper.com from the address registered on the account, with "Account Deletion Request" in the subject line.
- 3Or message us on WhatsApp from the registered mobile number and ask for the account to be closed.
- 4Whichever route you use, we confirm the request in writing before any data is removed.
The fastest route
If you are signed in, the button in section 06 submits the request directly — no email, no wait for us to reply.

- You are signed out of every session, on the website and in the app
- Signing in stops working, and it cannot be re-enabled from your side
- Personal data is reviewed and removed within 7 working days
- Records we are legally required to keep are retained and are not used for anything else
